The Famous Anthony DiNozzo Quotes & DiNozzo-isms

The Famous Anthony DiNozzo Quotes & DiNozzo-isms — Photo Art by Catherine Yetive We've all heard the famous quotes, jokes and phrases of Anthony DiNozzo, but I've tried to put them all together in one resource, if that is even possible. DiNozzo has so many hilarious quotes that I don't know if I got them all, if you do have a favorite quote and I didn't put it on here, feel free to comment this and write it down so we can add it to this list — Thanks!

[episode—Last Man Standing]

Tony: McGoo. It's true. TV really does add 10 pounds. You been hitting the jelly doughnuts again? How do I look?

McGee to Tony: Thank you, Tony. Look after yourself. Don't fall overboard, okay?
Tony: (looks left and right, then mutters) More likely to jump.
Gibbs: DiNozzo!
Tony: (puzzled) Pa?
Gibbs: Take care of yourself.
Tony: (looks around) Miss you too, Dad.

[episode—Agent Afloat]

Dr. Nguyen : The man who went overboard?
Tony: Yeah that’d be him genius.
Dr. Nguyen : You’ve already seen these records.
Tony: And that’s the wacky nature of these cases. They’re sort of like cheap luggage. You think they’re closed and then BAM! You hit a curb, lose a wheel and they open up all over again.

Michael Manning Weatherly Jr., A Biography

Michael Manning Weatherly Jr. Did you know Michael Weatherly has six siblings? Did you know his father possibly did the worse thing EVER when Michael decided to become an actor? Did you know that....well, I'm getting ahead of myself here. So, I'm going to go ahead and tell you all (trying not to let myself type y'all...I type like I talk!) a little bit about our beloved Michael.

"Collateral Damage," aka The Quintessential NCIS Episode

Collateral Damage, aka The Quintessential NCIS Episode Ahhh, summer... The season of sun, fun and reruns.

But that's OK. Because replays of our favorite shows aren't just filler until the new season starts up again in fall; they're a great chance to take a second, closer look at episodes and reconsider them from a fresh perspective.

Take the May 26 rerun of "Collateral Damage." My first time watching it, I remember just trying to keep track of everything going on -- the bank robbery; the side story involving the rookie agent; the SIDE side story involving Gibbs' suspicions regarding Agent Lee's real role in Langer's death; the side side SIDE story involving Tony's Fonzie-like manner of snagging free chocolates from the vending machine with a well-placed smack of the hand.

WHAT IT MEANS — A Message for Memorial Day 2009

Sorry guys, this blog isn't exactly posted specifically for NCIS or Michael Weatherly.  In light of recent events (Memorial Day), I would like each and every one of you to take a moment and remember our fallen heroes.  Because, ladies and gents, that is what this holiday is all about.

WHAT IT MEANS — A Message for Memorial Day 2009 The title of this "blog" is "What it means", and I'm sure all of you are asking "why"?  Every time you sit down in a bar and drink a beer, change your hair color, pierce your lip, buy a fantastic new dress to wear to the club that weekend...think about my brothers and sisters in arms across the Atlantic, fighting for their lives, and wishing that they could do what you are doing right now.  Six or seven months at a time, in a combat environment, and all they want is to see their families.  Hug their new born sons and daughters, and drink a nice, cold beer in their back yards.  Yes, they chose this lavish (and I say this with all the sarcasm I hold in my body. Trust me, it's a lot!) — 'lifestyle.' They did it so YOU wouldn't have to.

Give thanks to those who are willing to give up so much. And Semper Fidelis my brothers and sisters who read this blog, and thank you to all those others who willingly give so much for those of us that give so little.

The Curious Case of Michael Weatherly (Anthony DiNozzo)

S03E01 Kill Ari (Part I) Since my early days of fandom, I had always seen celebrities as completely detached from real life, almost to the point of being un-human. I assumed they breathed, but I've never seen it close up. I knew they laughed and cried, but I only experienced that through a TV or movie screen. I have had celebrity crushes since I was twelve years old, but had only seen a select few in the flesh. After those two short, yet significant experiences, I began longing for other opportunities to connect with my favorite stars. I started writing fan letters again (something I haven't done since I was a teenager). I found their pages on myspace.com and left them comments, hoping they'd answer back. I joined their website communities, chock full of other fans looking to connect with them online.

Why Write on a Michael Weatherly Blog? (From a New Writer)

Sarah Sutherland — Contributing Author for MikeWeatherly.com I'm Sarah Sutherland, a 23 year old inactive Marine, straight out of the big township, of Johnstown Pennsylvania. I'm pursuing my Baccalaureate of Science degree in a non-emphasis Criminal Justice major. While I like NCIS, I am not a die-hard fan. I can be faithful to this show, as it portrays what most military life is REALLY like. It's the only show that gets the uniforms right, along with the attitudes of military members.  I like it, so therefore, I watch it.

Sarah Sutherland — Contributing Author for MikeWeatherly.com Why write on a Michael Weatherly blog?  Because he has talent. And what better way to commemorate his talent, than to write about it.

My favorite episode of NCIS with Michael Weatherly portraying the much loved (but also much hated), Anthony DiNozzo?  Where he is framed for murder. Remember the scene where Gibbs comes to visit him, and he's not hallucinating, but reacting to different scenarios with not only himself, but himself times two? His conscience, but not. It portrays the human mind, the complexity of our thoughts, and how one reacts to a situation.

I would like to thank John for letting me blog on here, to share my interest of Michael Weatherly, the man, and not the celebrity, and also of NCIS.

I would enjoy hearing from you at email SarahS@MikeWeatherly.com.

The Live Chat With Pauley Perrette and Cote de Pablo

Ok, so I know some of you missed the live chat, but fortunately, I was there, and I stayed for most of it. I had to leave about 3:48 central time, so I only missed about 12 minutes of it! You can watch a replay of it here:

TV.COM — Archived Chat with NCIS stars Pauley Perrette and Cote de Pablo

Pauley Perrette (Abby Sciuto on NCIS)Cote de Pablo (Ziva David on NCIS)You really ought to check it out!  I didn't get any of my questions answered, the only thing that come up on the main screen from me was "lol, thats not a good hint" when we were talking about tonights season finale (which I missed because of work, but its on my DVR!). It was a lot of fun and I'm glad that I got to go to most of it!

Director Vance, Are You Really Who You Say You Are?

Director Vance, Are You Really Who You Say You Are? Tonight's season finale was great but the end really got me thinking (No not about the Ziva all messed up in the chair part. A little bit before that.) Yeah that's the part Rocky Carroll as NCIS Director Leon Vance I'm talking about, the Gibbs and Director Vance stand off. In the mix of conversation some things were bought up. One being Gibbs asking "Who are you (Leon)"? Really - is Leon Leon?

My Recovery From the Season Finale — " Aliyah "

My Recovery From the Season Finale — As I am sure many of my fellow NCIS fans are doing right now, I feel the need to rehash my personal events of the past hour.  It is presently 9pm, EST.  I just finished watching the season 6 finale of NCIS, and have many different feelings about it.

After reading all the blogs and webfeeds leading up to this moment, I must admit I had a feeling that Ziva would not be returning with the rest of the group.  Reason number 1 being that, unfortunately, most female agents don't last on this show! Thankfully, Pauley Perrette's Abby Sciuto is irreplaceable, which gives her sticking power.  However, Kate was a powerful, intelligent, beautiful asset to the team, which led to...her death.  Jenny Shepard was a leader, a strong agent, and remained sexy while doing it.  As we all know...killed. Ziva's character was a trained killer, strong in mind, body, and soul, suffered quietly, rarely trusted, but when she did, was powerfully loyal. Does anyone other than me think that she is unfortunately fallen into the pattern and will not return?  Don't get me wrong, I love the male characters for so many reasons (aside from the aesthetic)...they have all become staples and the show wouldn't be the same without them.  But, does anyone feel the same about the women of the show?  I know if Michael Weatherly, Mark Harmon, or Sean Murray intended to leave the show, I most likely wouldn't watch anymore.  I'd have lost interest.  Has anyone felt the same way when Sasha Alexander left, or now with the possibility of no more Cote de Pablo?  Hmmm...

Yet another new writer for MikeWeatherly.com!

Taylor Rumsey — Contributing Author for MikeWeatherly.comHey, I'm Taylor, and I'm another new writer. I'm sure you're bored of these introductions by now, but John said to introduce ourselves. I write fanfiction, and I am constanly writing more than one story at once, which gets me in WAY over my head. I live in Kansas (how boring!). Just a sec, I just heard NCIS referenced on TV. Ok, it was the 'real' NCIS, not the show. It was on Forensic Files. I am a Michael Weatherly fan, and a HUGE fan of NCIS, so if you don't like NCIS, I'm sorry to inform you that you may not like my posts.

Now, onto the blog!

So, is Michael really leaving NCIS, well, I hope not, but Shane Brennan is trying to lead us in many different directions. Probably just to promote interest in tonight's show, but what can I say, I'm worried about DiNozzo, he brings the show together, I mean, he is the source of most of the jokes and all of the sexual tension. There is a Live Chat with Cote de Pablo and Pauley Perrette today at 3:00 (Pacific time), and you know it, I will be asking about Michael leaving. I will cry if Tony does get killed off, or leaves NCIS, or just dissapears. I cried when Ari killed Cate and when Ziva killed Ari (he was a great character, but it was time for him to go) so I will be morally obligated to cry if Tony leaves, dies, whatever.

Oh, and did you hear about Twitter, Michael (may) have a Twitter account! His (possible) username is MikeWeatherly! Wow, I just realized that my intro is longer than the blog! I guess I'm full of myself and everyone else has blogged about things that I wanted to!

You can email me at TaylorR@MikeWeatherly.com if you would like to comment or suggest some story ideas.

Pauley Perrette Gets Married (Abby Sciuto on NCIS)

Pauley Perrette (Abby Sciuto on NCIS) Now, I'm sure you all are thinking...wait, this is a blog about Pauley Perrette? I thought I searched for www.MikeWeatherly.com.  Well, you did, but our beautiful forensic scientist (and the woman behind her) is 1: A major part of the show that we all love, 2: a very good friend to Michael Weatherly, and 3: a rockin' trendsetter who stands up for her beliefs.

Hey Tony! how's it goin'? (Abby on NCIS) About a month ago, I was watching Access Hollywood, specifically to hear about the death of Bea Arthur (another thespian of whom I am a big fan).  During that broadcast, I heard the news that Pauley Perrette had married her longtime boyfriend (follow the link below for their engagement story).  I was very happy for the actress, despite my huge crush on the character!  I wasn't paying much attention to the story, I'll admit, because I thought it was just going to be the same old celebrity nuptials report.  To my surprise, however, Ms. Perrette revealed that one of the reasons she took so long in getting married was that she was taking a stance against Proposition 8 in California.  She didn't think it was fair that many of her friends and peers couldn't have the same opportunity to marry who they love as she did.

A New Writer With An 'NCIS Addiction' — Help Me!

Javaris Squire — Contributing Author for MikeWeatherly.com Hi. My name is Javaris Sanquon Squire. I'm currently The Fashion Editor in Chief at My Swag Magazine. Most of my day is spent interviewing and talking about fashion and going to shows. But, when the clock hits 8(est.) on a Tuesday night you can find me zoned out on CBS watching the greatest show on earth NCIS. I've been a fan of the show since the pilot aired (Ice Queen) and I have been here thru it all. From Kate being killed by Ari Haswari ("Twilight"), to the moment Gibbs gave DiNozzo the team ("Hiatus.Pt 2") and took the team back ("Escaped") and the fight to protect the one she (Director Shepard) loved that ended up costing her her own life ("Judgment Day.Pt 1"). And now I wait for the season finale of season six and the fate of Tony and Ziva hangs in the balance.

OK, so the season finale is tonight and I don't know about you but my nerves are all gone. The build up leading to this night haves been great and action packed. Full of highs and lows twists and turns and the fan favorite head slaps(We even got two in one esp.). But the fact still remains that somebody will not be making the trip back to Dc. But who will it be?  Ziva the fast hands ,gun slanging Mossad agent. or Tony the smooth taking ladies man. I'm hoping in a turn of events Ziva daddy dies and Tony and Ziva race after the killer.Hey a guy can dream right?

Also, be sure to check out the live chat with Ziva and Abby on TV.com at 1pm today (Pacific time).

You can email me at JavarisS@MikeWeatherly.com  if you want to pass some time in your day, have a question or just want to say hi.

Couples of NCIS past (and present?)

As the season comes to a close I thought it would be apropos to take a look back at the couples of NCIS past, and possible present.

Tony and Jeanne Tony and Jeanne - Although originally meant to be part of an undercover operation to get to "The Frog" it was clear Anthony DiNozzo wished he could have been Tony DiNardo. As is seen in multiple episodes Tony was deeply in love with Dr. Jeanne Benoit. It could be said that he spent more time with her than was necessary to complete his undercover mission. He went to great lengths to impress her, giving her a candlelight dinner as she left work, pulling a small table from the back of his car (S04E12 Suspicion). In a conversation with Agent Paula Cassidy, (S04E19 Grace Period) Tony's feelings come to surface, and the episode ends with Tony arriving at Jeanne's apartment and tells her that he loves her, tears rolling down his cheeks to show just how much he does. You can see just how much Tony's heart has broken when he had to tell Jeanne the truth, and when the two finally see each other again, (S05E14 Internal Affairs). It is brought to light in season 6 (E18 Knockout) that he has been in a slump with women and dating since his break-up with Jeanne Benoit. Perhaps Ziva is the one that will lead Tony to the end of his search for the right woman.

A New Author — Melissa's First Michael Weatherly Blog!

Melissa Sak — Contributing Author for MikeWeatherly.com Hello, all, my name is Melissa. I'm a 31 year old teacher-in-training, pop culture fanatic, and writer.  I'm currently studying towards my Master's degree, and when I need a break, I wrap myself in a good book, a well-written TV show, or a created world written by talented fanfic authors. I recently joined the other bloggers in sharing love for the outstanding drama, NCIS, and one of its very talented actors, Michael Weatherly.

I first discovered Michael as Brendan Rowe, the demon-turned-priest in Charmed's Season one episode entitled, "When Bad Warlocks Turn Good".  As much as I enjoyed the chemistry between him and Prue Halliwell (Shannen Doherty), I began to believe that he may not have been the right actor to be cast in that role.  He was...WAY too gorgeous to play a believeable priest!Anthony Dinozzo on NCIS, played by actor Michael Weatherly

Then, many years later, I ran into this luscious man again in a particularly heartbreaking episode of NCIS, where I was not only exposed to his amazing body, but his range of acting chops.  "SWAK" was the first episode of NCIS I saw (in reruns) and afterwards, I couldn't get enough.

Michael Weatherly (Anthony Dinozzo on NCIS) I have a mini-crush on every character at the Navy yard for completely different reasons.  Michael's charm, intelligent, though frat-boy humor, and physical hijinks give Tony DiNozzo so much more depth than normally would be expected.

I won't ramble on much longer, there are many more topics that I'd like to give my full attention.  Just wanted to say my hellos, hope to have the chance to talk with you all soon, and enjoy the rest of the episode! -Melissa

You can email me at MelissaS@MikeWeatherly.com with your story suggestions and comments.

Another New Writer and Observations of DiNozzo

Megan Allen — Contributing Author for MikeWeatherly.com Hey hey! My name's Megan, and I'm another writer for the blog. I'm currently working on a couple of novels, and some fanfiction, that includes of course NCIS. I have a very curious soul that's always asking questions and finding answers for them. I'm making myself more of a mini expert on the show, re-watching the previous seasons and making my own deductions about the characters.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs and Anthony Dinozzo, NCIS Watching past seasons, and re-watching the current season that's coming to an end, I've noticed two correlations between Tony DiNozzo and L.J. Gibbs. You literally have to pull a tooth from both of them to get them to admit that something is wrong, and they've both had the same issues when it comes to women and love. I'm waiting for Tony to buy a house and start building a boat next. He's becoming quite the workaholic, much like Gibbs. Is anyone else noticing that Tony is slowly transforming into Gibbs?

Ziva David, NCISUnfortunately I won't actually be around to watch the season finale. I'm taking dreaded Spring classes, but that doesn't mean that I won't be able to watch it later Tuesday night. It's gonna be all the buzz to find out if someone dies, and who's not going to be coming home. What's going to happen between Ziva and her father? I've always sensed some tension there, she's made that a little clear in past seasons, too. But of course the real question is: What about Tony??

I can of course be emailed at MeganA@MikeWeatherly.com with any questions or comments, or anything really!

New Writer for This Blog, Plus Your Toughts on Season Finale

Kim Roseler — Contributing Author for MikeWeatherly.com Hey everyone! I'm Kim, a new writer. I don't know if John will have more writers or not, but for now there's just two of us, if you want to be a writer talk to him not me. Just a heads up, I am in LOVE with NCIS, so if you hear more about that than Charlie Valentine or anything else Michael is in, then I do apoligize.

Michael Weatherly with Tatoos? Don't worry, they are painted! Alrighty — so last Tuesday's show. I can tell the last episode will be amazing with hopefully some Tony Ziva romance. Who else saw the sneak peek of the last episode?! What do you think will happen? Who do you think will die? I'm so scared Tony will die, but at the same time Ziva better not die either — why do the writers have to kill people off?! It makes no sense to me, actually it does but, at any rate it's still not fair. Although, the more I think of it, everyone who has left the show has been shot, and they have been female, so if they're going to try something new it would be Tony, but there no way on Gods green earth he can leave.

Have you seen Weatherly in his new tatoo body?! Okay, so they're not actual tatoos, they are painted, I hope. I will post a photo when I get my computer working properly.

You can email me at KimR@MikeWeatherly.com if you have any questions or just want to chat!

'NCIS' shocker: A 'tragic' fate for Tony and Ziva

'NCIS' shocker: A 'tragic' fate for Tony and Ziva "Tiva" fans, I've got good news for you, and, as the title of this story suggests, bad news -- potentially very bad news. But hey, first the good: NCIS executive producer Shane Brennan tells me that for viewers who are in love with the duo -- and I know there are lots of you -- "the last four episodes of the season are going to be amazing. They will not believe what's in store for these characters. We focus on Tony (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva (Cote de Pablo) in a way that we haven't focused on them in six seasons! (Continued)

Michael Weatherly Leaving ‘NCIS’?

Michael Weatherly Leaving ‘NCIS’? Fears from NCIS fans that someone from the team was heading off to do the spin-off were allayed when an entirely new team was introduced in the “Legend” episodes. There are, however, still Michael Weatherly Leaving ‘NCIS’? rumors that Michael Weatherly, who plays Tony, might leave NCIS, and show runner Shane Brennan neither confirmed nor denied such speculation.

“That’s not correct … but that’s not wrong, either,” he tells TV Guide, letting out a laugh. “It’s one of those things that people are going to have to watch to figure out.” (Continued)
