Since our site's inception, we've celebrated many brilliant scenes illustrating the comic genius behind Michael Weatherly's portrayal of Tony DiNozzo. In researching sites, blogs, and bios of Michael and toting facts about him, I began to discover the imaginative, witty manner of the man as well as the character he plays. I'd like to share a few quotes with you from the lighter side of one of our favorite special agents.
Interview with TV Guide:
Q: What do you like to do with your teenager, August?
A: I try to get him to do stuff he wouldn’t normally do. I tried to get him to go ice skating; that was a no-go. We go to concerts; we’ve seen The Police, Elvis Costello, Evanescence. He is an exceptionally cool dude, and I think, “Get ready, world!"

When asked what character is closest (or farthest) from the personality of it's actor: “Cote’s a stone cold killer.”
In response to Ziva's relationship in "Dead Man Walking": “(the orange hat)...is from a very touching episode that I may or may have cried through…”
When asked about his first paying job: "I was a model for a romance novel cover...I had long hair, swept back with my shirt open..." Cote de Pablo: "Are you kidding?" MW: "Yes, yeah, I'm kidding..."
In regards to a comment made on the age gap between Michael Weatherly and Sean Murray: "That's how young you are, cause I was eating Sugar Smacks...kiddo."
Michael's response to Sean Murray being asked whether he wants McGee to have a love interest on the show: "Would that love interest be at this table?...Not excluding myself?"
(From craig kilborn interview): "I'm 36, which was the age my dad was when he had me. It's a big age....I just keep thinking about death all the time (laughs)."
When asked about his record of clean living after a stint of hard drinking: "It's a privilege and an honor to be able to enjoy the spirits."
In regards to his working relationship with Mark Harmon: "He's Karl Malden, I'm Michael Douglas." [Yes, gratuitous pop-culture reference!]
When asked how close the man resembled the character (which is, apparantly, a pretty popular question!):
"My Michael Weatherly personality is like a multifaceted disco ball personality that reflects much light, and is good for dancing. And, I would say Tony's personality is just one little disco mirror." -From FamousWhy.com
